We offer ABPI testing, Ankle Brachial Pulse Index screens for PAD, peripheral arterial disease.  If you are 70 years and over and/or smoke, or have hypertension, or high cholesterol, or are considered high risk ie due to diabetes or immobility or presenting with lower limb related changes, or with a familial history of PAD it is strongly recommended to be screened for PAD through ABPI testing.

We routinely assess the vascular and neurological condition of the feet with a doppler to the foot pulses and 10g monofilament fibre and Neurotip Pen to assess sensation of the feet to determine whether the arteries are healthy or not and for Peripheral Neuropathy.

We  provide biomechanical assessments and supply and fit custom prescription insoles. The insole is placed into your shoe to re-align your foot, take pressure off vulnerable areas of your foot or simply to make your shoes more comfortable and help you walk better. It can stop pain, prevent bunions from premature development and can delay the onset of hip and knee problems.
